Barbara Comstock of the Workforce Fairness Institute discusses the curiously named Employee Free Choice Act, which would do away with secret-ballot elections in workplaces considering "union shop" status. More >
"How can anybody who cares about the economy, which is obviously by far the most important issue of this election, vote for Mark Udall? Congressman Udall has no understanding of economics, and almost everything he thinks he knows is wrong. Bob Schaffer has a deep understanding of economics (in part because he, unlike Mark Udall, has worked in the private sector including starting his own company) and is far more qualified to be our next senator, particularly during such difficult economic times.

It’s been an incredibly exciting campaign season, and today, we look back at all the hot button people and issues making news this election cycle. I’m talking about things like "Joe the Plumber," "Jeremiah Wright," and the $700 billion Wall Street bailout which, coincidentally, is the same amount Mark Udall has spent trying to tear down Bob Schaffer.
"According to Udall’s latest campaign finance report, the sitting congressman dropped $524.04 on “ad clothing” at Eddie Bauer. This revelation comes around the same time the Republican National Committee has come under fire for dropping a substantially larger sum — more than $150,000 — on Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s wardrobe."
"According to the Rocky Mountain News, Boulder liberal Mark Udall turned in his absentee ballot.... in Boulder:
This just in: Mark Udall voted - for himself. The Democratic U.S. Senate candidate turned in his absentee ballot Monday at an early voting site at the University of Colorado.
Are we still supposed to pretend he's not from Boulder?"
Schaffer closes gap in U.S. Senate race
October 21, 2008"So Mark Udall is falsely slamming candidate Bob Schaffer by suggesting that he "voted against veterans." The facts? Schaffer opposed the bills cited in the commercial for their tens of millions of dollars in wasteful pork projects.
