Documents made public by Face The State were the basis for a Washington Times report detailing the inner workings of the Colorado Democracy Alliance, a group of wealthy liberal donors working to advance progressive causes in the state.

"You would think that CO Media Matters, the group Democracy Alliance funnels money to, would have had our backs earlier. Usually they are on point but they are slacking these day.

Why?

Maybe they are flabbergasted.

The "educate the idiots" story broke on Oct 1st and it has taken them 14 days to address the lefty billionaire vast-wing conspiracy. They posted their response on Wed, Oct 15, 2008 6:17pm MST."

"Kudos to the Denver Post for its continuing series on the Colorado Democracy Alliance, high command of the political left for strategy and finance. Today's article, the Post's third by my count since Face the State.com broke this story with its "educate the idiots" scoop, mentions CoDA attorney Mark Grueskin but doesn't do justice to his huge role in this success story.

CoDA whistleblower goes public on 850 KOA

850 KOA radio host Jon Caldara, sitting in for morning man Mike Rosen, today interviewed Isaac Smith, the whistle-blower who leaked documents detailing the inner workings of the Colorado Democracy Alliance. Face The State first made those documents public in a series of reports last week. Smith addresses the authenticity of the documents and details his time as an intern at the now-defunct Bighorn Center.
