"OK. I know Barbara Kirkmeyer won the election for Weld County Commissioner in District 3. It’s my district. As I said all along, I have problems with how Kirkmeyer conducts business and manages money. According to CompleteColorado.com, Weld County D.A. Ken Buck found probable cause that Kirkmeyer violated Colorado’s ethics statute for state employees. However, there doesn’t seem to be any penalty for the possible violation. Apparently state senator Scott Renfroe is going to address the lack of any penalty in the upcoming legislative session.
