Buescher inconsistent on oil, gas

Print Comment
Putting aside that Bernie Buescher votes to let full grown men in the little girls bathroom, I am more upset about the fact that Buescher only showed up to the oil and gas hearing last week because over 200 local non-industry business owners sent him a letter calling him out on supporting the now illegal mil levy freeze, rubber stamping the oil and gas rules and supporting Governor Ritter’s union policies.

This letter must have shook him up because the signers are all community leaders who donated to his campaign. Anyway, one day he shows up in front of 2,000 people from business and supports the industry, less than a week later Buescher is singing onto a press announcement praising the commission for a political stunt to dupe the public by offering “clarifications” to the rules. I’ll take a consistent leader like Penry any day over someone who sticks their finger in the wind and changes their position every other day. It will be interesting to see if Buescher supporters the severance tax hike also being perpetrated on our industry along side everything else.
