NCLA opposes labor-related ballot issues

Print Comment
The Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance has approved a resolution to support the Colorado Labor Peach Act of 1943.

The resolution, according to a press release from the organization -- the joint public policy advocate for chambers of commerce in Greeley, Fort Collins and Loveland, and the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corp. -- came in reaction to proposed labor related initiatives.

The resolution calls on the proponents of the Right to Work Initiative, Amendment 47, and the those in favor of proposed counter labor-initiated ballot measures to cease their efforts and retract respective proposals headed for the November ballot.

The NCLA has sent the resolution to and will request individual meetings with the proponents of the right-to-work initiative and labor leaders backing the various labor-initiated measures.
