It’s election day – sometimes I’ve felt like we’d never make it. But have you thought about what’s really at stake this year?
More on that in a moment on the Face The State Radio Minute.
This election is much more important than who will serve in America’s highest elected office. It’s about the course our country will chart for years to come, long after Barack Obama or John McCain leave office.
Elections have consequences. Presidents appoint Supreme Court justices who serve life terms. And we all know new government programs never die. Maybe this is one of the most important elections of our lifetime, but all elections are important, even down to the smallest town council. Point is, this election presents a real choice between liberty and free markets, and command-and-control policies and forever expanding government. Choose wisely; we’ll be living with the consequences for the rest of our lives.
