With all this talk about the “greenest” political convention ever, does reality live up to the hype?
More on that in a moment on the Face The State Radio Minute.
They’re calling it the “greenest” political convention ever. DNC organizers have even hired a “greening” director to gin up environmental guilt. Delegates can even buy carbon credits to “offset” their global impact.
But what do all these special programs amount to? Last month Face The State reported the Colorado wind turbine funded by the DNC carbon credits doesn’t even work – and it never has.
And remember the old Stapleton Airport in Denver, right near downtown? It was torn down when Denver International was built, a whole 25 miles out of town. Democrat leaders like former Mayor Frederico Pena, who pushed for the move, are now busy touting their Earthy piety.
Caring for the environment is important. But I can’t stand hypocrisy.
