Face The State was on the scene for the Independence Institute's annual Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Party, held Saturday at the Kiowa Creek Sporting Club. If you missed this year's event - or would like to re-live it, here's a slideshow of this year's festivities.
Attendees spent the morning shooting shotgun on the club's professional course, then retired for lunch, a stiff drink and a smooth smoke. Speakers included Institute president Jon Caldara, gun-rights expert David Kopel and executive director of The Weekly Standard, Fred Barnes.
