Documents made public by Face The State were the basis for a Washington Times report detailing the inner workings of the Colorado Democracy Alliance, a group of wealthy liberal donors working to advance progressive causes in the state.

CoDA’s roster includes “Gang of Four” members Pat Stryker, Tim Gill and Rutt Bridges. As members of CoDA's board of directors and major contributors to Democrat campaigns, liberal non-profits and 527s, they are gunning for this year's up-ticket Democrat candidates Barack Obama, Mark Udall and Betsy Markey.

The Times, however, did not mention the controversial Alliance memo that details Democrat plans to “educate the idiots” and target minorities. The document outlines tasks for various members of CoDA’s liberal infrastructure, including a campaign to “educate the idiots” assigned to the state’s AFL-CIO union. Face The State's coverage received national attention after the story was linked to by the Drudge Report.
